Location: Remote (with occasional in-person work at Alexia's home office in Plymouth/New Hope and classroom support at located within Viva Family Chiropractic)

Alexia the Doula and Hola Postpartum are seeking a warm, organized, and proactive assistant to help manage the behind-the-scenes operations of a growing doula and postpartum care practice. This is an ideal role for someone who values personalized client care, thoughtful communication, and supporting a mission-driven small business focused on healing, empowerment, and community.
You’ll support Alexia with scheduling, class coordination, email communications, systems organization and general client care workflows—ensuring every family receives a deeply personalized and attentive experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on the challenge of growing a small business through strong communication and organizational skills who is passionate about details in creating meaningful client relationships, telling that story on social media for marketing, and customer service for new families in pregnancy and postpartum.
Responsibilities include:
$25–$30/hour depending on experience, with growth potential. This is an independent contractor position.

- Managing calendars and scheduling client appointments, classes, and follow-ups
- Maintaining warm, timely communication with clients to support personalized care
- Drafting and scheduling email responses, client reminders, and newsletters
- Assisting with class logistics and registration coordination (in-person & online)
- Keeping track of postpartum support follow-up lists and class waitlists
- Organizing internal files, systems, and project to-do’s
- Supporting with social media content scheduling
- Helping build and maintain workflows that improve client care and internal ease
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- A clear and compassionate communicator
- Tech-comfortable (especially with Gmail, Google Calendar, Canva, and basic CRM or email marketing tools)
- Someone who can take direction and run with a task independently
- Genuinely warm and kind, with a professional tone that reflects Alexia’s healing-centered brand
- Small business savvy—you understand the ebb and flow of client needs, shifting schedules, and the many hats worn in running a mission-driven business
- Passionate about supporting parents, birth workers, and holistic wellness (doula experience not required but a plus)
