Current Openings
Administrative and Social Media AssistantAlexia is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join the team as an Administrative and Social Media Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing administrative tasks and coordinating social media content to help promote and grow the brands, Alexia the Doula and Hola Postpartum. You’ll work closely with Alexia to ensure smooth operations, assist with event/class registrations, maintain social media presence, and engage with our audience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on the challenge of growing a small business through strong communication and organizational skills who is passionate about social media, marketing, and customer service for new families in pregnancy and postpartum.
Assistant's Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently manage and organize emails, ensuring timely responses and appropriate delegation of tasks
- Utilize strong copywriting skills to write compelling and engaging copy for various platforms, from enewsletters to social media content.
- Identify tasks and needs that can be handled independently to allow Alexia to focus more on face-to-face client interaction.
- Creative execution and administrative management for new courses and offerings through Alexia the Doula and Hola Postpartum
Qualifications:
- Moderate experience as a virtual assistant
- Proficient in Mailchimp, Google Suite, HoneyBook, Canva, Weebly, SquareSpace and other organizational and creative platforms
- Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage time efficiently.
- Availability of 5-10 hours per week remotely/virtually, with some of these hours on-call to notify/reschedule clients when Alexia gets called to a birth
- Available to meet in-person for 1-2hours twice a month
